Project Green Schools is proud to announce CELC Middle School has been selected to participate in Race for the Planet, a program by Project Green Schools to engage school/organization/community groups in environmental action. CELC joins K-12 students around the U.S. who are hosting Race for the Planet this school year.

The public is invited to attend CELC’s Race for the Planet Day Thursday, 2 June 1:00 – 4:30 p.m. at CELC (28 School Street, Branford) to share your experience and enjoy interactive events onsite.

This experiential learning program will promote leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking skills as school/organization/community groups work towards implementing solutions to real-world sustainability challenges experienced in their school or community, while promoting a healthy lifestyle and planet.
