What do you buy the person who has everything? How about a goat, some chickens or rabbits?
CT Experiential Learning Center (CELC) Middle School students will host a Living Gift Market Thursday, 10 December 2015 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at 28 School Street (2nd floor) in Branford.
All are welcome to join this celebration where the public can purchase “living gifts”- animals supplied by Heifer International that will go to families around the world to support Heifer International‘s mission to work with communities, ending hunger and poverty and caring for the Earth.
Students will have information booths to describe how each animal benefits the families and villages around the world. You will leave with gift cards to honor family and friends with the purchase of any of these animals. All gift donations are tax deductible.
Also, Liz Ellis from Heifer International will give a presentation about Heifer’s work.
Live animals, music, and refreshments! Share this event with all – far and wide throughout the world!
Come to our Living Gift Market and learn how animals like these can provide sustainable livelihoods for struggling families.
