TODAY BRANFORD: Friday, 5 June at Branford’s Blackstone Memorial Library auditorium, from 12:30 to 4:30 CT Experiential Learning Center Middle School students present their Living History Museum focused onHeritage, Ethnicity, and Quest for Freedom in America.
Entirely original work presented within giant, elaborate displays that model the lives of immigrants from different counties in the world, students dress in costume and “become” a person who could have immigrated – using refrigerator boxes to create tenement apartments or handmade life-sized wooden rafts, students tell their stories in an interactive way!
Please join us and bring others – we hope to have lots of people attend so the students may share all they’ve worked hard to design!
All Ages Welcome – FREE and Open to the Public.
