Students have a lot of learning potential. Yet, there are so many things often coming in at once, causing overload.
At CELC, we invite practices to become more aware and consider one’s approach. When a student is able to arrive to the task with senses awakened, learning becomes more available.
What does it mean to be present, to notice one’s actions, thoughts, and to be in the experience in real time? Following are some simple exercises as a start to finding the way to oneself. Thank you to Gail, our .b (Stop, Breathe, and Be) instructor through the Mindfulness in Schools project.
